Daily Review and Commentary for June 23, 2008

Today I discuss being ‘delta neutral’. You may have heard the term used before or not, but it’s an important idea to understand in trading.

I explain when it’s important and when it’s not and how to use certain adjustments that bring you to a delta neutral position quickly and why. Being delta neutral is expensive sometimes though and should be used sparingly because it can cut into your theta.

I also discuss a potential trade with SBUX (see Module 11, Part 3 for more info on this strategy).
